Compressed Hard Maple 38" x 6 1/4" x 1 1/16"

Hard Maple is the eastern "Sugar" maple, also called "Hard Rock" maple. We use it mainly to make snare drum shells that are marketed by Drum Workshop throughout the world. If you know drums, this is the maple we use in the "Super Solid" snare drum from Drum Workshop.
