Whiskey Jack Geometry

The Whiskey Jack is similar to a drop bar road bike, with a slightly more relaxed geometry, slightly taller head tube, and wider spacing for up to 40mm x 700c tires or 50mm x 650b tires. Only four sizes are shown, but we do make our bikes in sizes of every one centimeter from 49 to 62 cm.

The Whiskey Jack is built off of the John Day Geometry. Some of the notable features include a relaxed head angle, tall head tube, swept back long bow seat stays, and S shaped chain stays. The down tube is laterally very stiff, but vertically compliant, producing a plush ride, yet from a stiff frame. The seat tube is a modified Kam-tail, a nod to our aerodynamic road bike the Aerowood, because it just looks gorgeous. The top tube is curved, and new in this model, the inner main triangle is bent from one piece of wood. Nothing like this has ever been possible in a bike before Pure Timber applied their extreme wood bending to bike building.
